Hands-on Review: Vintage Spoon Jewelry
Today, I am reviewing a spoon bracelet made by artist Dan Kemp of Dank Artistry. Vintage silverware is absolutely beautiful and Dan has used the variety and intricacy of design to his advantage to make some really unique pieces. I have seen spoon rings before but this is the first time I have seen a bracelet. The bracelet was smooth and comfortable to wear.I thought it might feel too heavy but it was a comfortable weight. Unknown to Dan, the review bracelet is the exact same pattern of silverware my Grandmother gave to me as a child. This had me excited about it the second I took it out of the package. Some of my other favorite pieces are the rings that he has made from spoons engraved with initials. The jewelry is well made and very affordable. If you are looking for a unique handmade gift then this is a great place to start your shopping. There is a pattern or design for everyone. Who knows, you might find your Grandmother’s pattern too!

I recently purchased a knife bell fron Dan Kemp, @ Dankartistry.etsy.com. I bought this knife bell for a friend for Christmas, as another friend & I had puurchased matching bell knife pendants last year. When it arrived, 2 days later I was totally impressed !! Not only was the craftsmanship exquisite,it had cost less as well !! Dan Kemp obviously has a love to create & his work is the best I’ve seen. I would highly reccommend any of his designs for a great one of a kind gift, made with love.

Several of Dan’s bracelets, as well as many rings and earrings have come home with me and I almost never leave the house without wearing some piece of jewelry he has made. He is a true artist and takes care with each piece he makes. You just can’t go wrong with Dan’s work.
